Founded in 1932, Rocky manufacture high quality, rugged and durable footwear as well as clothing and accessories for the military, outdoor and work sectors.

Through our brand development process we understood the goals and objectives for Rocky were to grow further across the European markets and to adapt the brand to connect to these audiences effectively to become a leading reliable and trusted brand following their newly defined values.

The Background

Although being extremely well known in the US market, Rocky's presence in the European markets was far behind, creating a perception gap that needed to be closed. The competition in Europe was very different to Rocky's competition in the US.

The Solution

Going through our strategic brand development process, we were able to create messaging, proposition, tone of voice and strapline to communicate to Rocky's European audiences much more effectively, creating a story to influence consumers purchasing decisions.

Through our experience in the European footwear market, we were able to differentiate Rocky from it's European competition and define the best path for growth.
